Frank Sinatra said it best ‘they go together like a horse and carriage’. Really Frank because doesn’t that mean that the horse is out front, doing all the work and it’s never good enough, getting whipped and yelled at??? A metaphor for marriage…or is he referring to the beautiful symbiotic relationship between a man and a woman, depending on the local applicable laws of course. Two different parts becoming one magnificent unit of power, force and practicality in this unique symbiotic relationship.

From the Celebrant to the music they will handle everything but the forms you need to ‘legally’ be married. This ain’t Vegas. A quick trip to the embassy will prepare you for marital bliss. Another option is to have the ceremony without all the legality of having a certificate. Remember you’re on holiday and if you are still in love after your trip, you can head to the justice of the peace. And remember your ‘wedding day’ on the beach and that picture you have of an elephant eating a banana out of your mouth.
