Seduction is the first of a new generation of night club in Phuket. Seduction is the first club to have brought in the worlds finest international DJ’s to Phuket and after three years entertaining an international clubbers scene as well as expat community they have done exactly as they set out to do and there success has came as no surprise.

Stereo Lab in Surin beach is definitely worth checking. Nice beach club bar with lively event schedule. Names like Todd Terry. Stanton Warriors, Goldie, Joey Negro visited Stereo Lab this season and many more are booked for the coming months ahead..

I went along here with a group of friends from England on a Saturday night. Although low season, it was still lively. Most of the action was around the bar & DJ box, the music was good and most people were up dancing, a few even climbed up onto the bar to dance!

Breeze Phuket

Sound opened autumn 2009. It’s managed by Bed and Supper Club from Bangkok. The Club it self is good looking, but it’s probably the location, upstairs of Jungceylon. Late evenings there is not much going on in that area so they could be seen to be quite alone there.

Scruffy Murphy’s

I like to go along here when I am feeling a little homesick, sip a cold Guinness and watch the band – they never fail to get the young crowd out of their seats and doing a little jig. Beer is cheap and the atmosphere is familiar and hospitable, you forget you are in Thailand once you get inside. 12.00 – 2am

Tai Pan

Looking to get liquored are you? Tai Pan is the place to go with a bevy of beautiful ladies, live music and some of the best sounds in Patong. It can get a bit crowded especially on party nights and be careful of the girls, many are freelancing!! Good location in Soi Bangla and a live band. 9pm - late

Tiger Bar

I can’t say too much about this place as I can never remember the next morning but my flashbacks tell me I had a good time! Live music and DJs keep the vibe up tempo, you can sit at a bar and watch the street life or join in the fun on the dance floor with the tiger skin clad ladies and lots of raunchy dancing (pole included).

Rock City

If rock and metal music are your thing then you will love this live music bar, it even has its own tribute AC/DC band. This place is often packed and there is always a good crowd with a friendly atmosphere. I went here by myself one night and soon hooked up with a group of people out for a good laugh.

Safari

This is one of the only places to go after the other clubs have closed as it doesn’t get going until after midnight, if you still have lots of energy then this is open until late, or early as the case may be. Can be good to go and just sit and people watch as everyone is pretty much wasted.

Molly Malone’s

Good place to relax and sip a nice cold pint if you just want to meet up with some friends for a chat or sit and watch the live band. If you don’t want to be hassled by bar girls then try here, nothing too exciting but you know what you are getting, the usual Irish themed pub - prefer Scruffy’s myself. 12 – 2am

Banana

I was turned off this club before we even got in as a friend of mine got loads of hassle from the door staff as she was Thai and wasn’t with a farang guy! Frankly I found the music really boring, techno and dance music and though I love to dance it did nothing for me. I did get free drinks vouchers with the entrance fee however. 10pm – 2am

Coyote

A bit cheesy I guess with ‘hombres’ dressed up in ponchos and sombreros, but it is right on the beach and serves delicious margaritas and if you fancy a tequila slammer there are lots of different types on offer. Cool place to hang out in the evening and it has live music.

Baya Beach Bar

This a fun place to go as there is always some kind of party in swing. Full of young girls dressed in as little as possible, the place is often too crowded. Normally I would say ‘not really my scene’ however I had a great time here dancing in a circle with a bunch of strangers!
